Last week, twelve-year-old Amari Allen of Immanuel Christian School in Springfield, Virginia raised serious allegations against three of her white classmates claiming that she’d been held down on the playground and forcibly had some of her dread locks cut off in a bullying incident where she was called “ugly” and that her hair was “nappy”.
While this would have been a terrible example of bullying and even worse, with a racial slant, instead it was an example of what we can in 2019 call “pulling a Smollett” because…the cutting of the hair in the “attack” was in fact fabricated and never actually happened.
What was young Amari thinking when she made this story up and added to the already racially charged media environment of America in 2019? Well she was probably thinking that – just like Jussie Smollett – since there wasn’t enough REAL and ACTUAL racism in her life to claim being a victim, she would just manufacture it instead. This is what Jussie Smollett has taught the minority youth of America, that if you’re not a real victim – just pretend to be! You will get lots of sensational racism-drum-beating national media attention and you can demonize some white people while you’re at it – a double win! The best part? You will get away with it clean EVEN IF YOU ARE FOUND OUT!
Doesn’t that all sound like such a great caper to pull on the white devils? And don’t those white bastards deserve to get into trouble for something they didn’t actually do? Smollett is a damn genius and will forever go down in history as creating out of nowhere his own personal contribution to the racial divide in the United States: fake racism so you can perpetuate racism. It’s called “Pulling a Smollett”. Everyone should try it sometime because, why not? You won’t ever get into any trouble for it…
Much like Smollett was seen not long after his now-proven FAKE racial attack (which he STILL insists that he didn’t lie about – thank prosecutors for dropping the case) calling himself “the gay Tupac”, we’ll soon hear Amari recanting her…recanting, and re-insisting that a racial crime has indeed occurred against her. Shouldn’t it BE a hate crime to falsely CLAIM a hate crime!? The damage to the reputation of the accused alone would justify this, not to mention the costs associated with the investigations that have to take place – even if only to prove that the whole thing was a farce.
Nevertheless, this is the America we live in today. A country full of people spitting into bottles of tea at the grocery store, and anyone of any sort of minority “pulling a Smollett”. One thing you can bet your last dollar on – this will NOT be the last “Smollett” we see get pulled. On the contrary, this is only the beginning.
