Chris Hansen from NBC’s ‘To Catch a Predator’

Life makes little sense in this year two-thousand nineteen the year of our Lord however THIS takes the cake!

Chris Hansen, from the various “To catch a …..” shows has been “caught” (he actually turned himself in) writing checks too large for his bank account.

Apparently Chris has been giving at least one guy the run around on some money owed and has written multiple bad checks over time. What’s astonishing about this is how it seems to unfold like a slow motion train wreck over months culminating in Chris very bizarrely turning himself in for said charge instead of just having worked everything out beforehand and having just paid his dang bills!

Chris has definitely done some good work over the years, I do hope he gets this straightened out and the aggrieved business owner compensated appropriately. Chris we hope you get back on your feet!

This is a great documentary for those interested in relaxing late-night entertainment. Be ready to read subtitles however as the film is just about entirely non-English…

A thief in the night…
Captain Corn

It’s a dangerous time in America to go looking for blame after an African-American man has been shot dead inside of his own Dallas apartment home however that is exactly what we’re embarking upon with the latest murder indictment of the police officer who committed the shooting.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/amber-guyger-dallas-officer-who-shot-man-in-his-own-apartment-indicted-for-murder/ar-BBQjH59?ocid=spartandhp

This unfortunate incident had the extra bad luck of happening during the latest few chaotic years of absolute political and racial upheaval in the United States. No one wants to see an innocent man killed, especially when it aggravates already open wounds however this particular shooting is almost guaranteed to fan the flames of racial conflict in this nation for the seeming audacity of the circumstances.

Officer Guyger claims she was under the impression that she was inside of her own apartment whenever she saw Mr. Jean in the darkness and discharged her weapon following Jean’s failed heeds to her requests.

To some people, this sounds like an overzealous white female Dallas Police officer who kicked in the door of an innocent black man and went to town guns blazing…to OTHER people this sounds like an absolute tragedy for all involved…

All I’m asking is for people to realize how absurdly ridiculous it would be for this woman to have committed the offense of which she is being accused (the charge was raised to murder recently over manslaughter!?); that she would knowingly shoot another resident at her own apartment complex and put on this whole “accident charade”. Come on people. The only thing that’s almost as absurd is that she went to someone else’s apartment and thought it was her own right???

Wrong. This is the part of the article that really grabbed my attention. This has happened to me before a couple of times actually living in Dallas apartments. At least on three separate occasions over the past five years have I accidentally gotten off the elevator on the wrong floor of my apartment, stumbled down the hallway, and erroneously attempted to insert my key into the wrong door. One time this happened and I actually just opened the door – it hadn’t even been locked – to someone else’s apartment! They were pissed!

As far fetched as the tone of this article might suggest it is to accidentally come across a door IDENTICAL to yours in a hallway IDENTICAL to the one you live in and in a building IDENTICAL to yours….it actually CAN happen!!! It’s called getting off the elevator on the wrong floor of your building; it can happen to anyone at any time actually (especially if alcohol were to be involved etc – which explains one of my incidents).

Our prayers go out to everyone involved in this horrible tragedy and if there are any lessons to be learned here they may be to be more vigilant and aware as you enter and exit your own residence’s door because a thief in the night might just take your life or your freedom that evening…

Mexican citizen killed in Mexico is somehow ICE’s fault…?
Captain Corn

The disinformation campaign by the American media continues and shows no signs of even slowing down. What’s the most interesting part of the propaganda these days however is how the contents of posted articles on major news sites will contradict their titles time and time again.

This Mexican citizen had been given DACA status which was subsequently terminated as a result of actions of his own including being convicted of at least one drug charge (for certain at least two initial charges), and while awaiting an immigration hearing was convicted of another misdemeanor charge.

To me, this article proves a couple of things:

#1 – ICE and the US Government’s policies actually seemed to work well in this case; they were processing someone out of the country that couldn’t behave while on a temporary DACA status (is this not exactly what we want and what the rules are made for?)

2# – The fact that he was murdered by no doubt  his own people and certainly in his own country proves that we need to enforce immigration policies now more than ever and also need to be MORE strict about them not LESS as this article seems to imply

3# – ICE DIDN’T RETURN HIM TO MEXICO. He returned himself, not only by – as the article states – CHOOSING to VOLUNTARILY depart, but also by violating the rules several times while under DACA status

What planet do we live on that the editor of this article not only contradicts his own title, but also believes that all the evidence put forth proves that the US should’ve allowed this man (yes, he’s a man, he was 19 – but reading the article’s title all you see is ‘teen’) to remain in the US? WHY? So he could violate more laws and eventually end up living on the tax payer’s dollar in an already overcrowded prison?

“In April 2017, Cano Pacheco was arrested on a misdemeanor drug charge and was convicted about the same time on a second misdemeanor…”

“He was released from ICE custody after posting bond…”

“While waiting on an immigration hearing, Cano Pacheco was convicted of driving under the influence and another misdemeanor…”

“Cano Pacheco was not deported.”

“He opted for voluntary departure, which means he would not suffer the penalties of a formal deportation, such as being banned from legally returning to the United States for a period of years…”

“He requested and was granted voluntary departure on April 10…”

“…and was returned to Mexico at the border in Laredo, Texas, on April 24.”

“He went to the store at 5 p.m. on a Friday. Then he went missing.”
